BRAAM update

Greetings BRAAM Family
The extended 2 week Lockdown has started and as we’ve become more accustomed to the stay home, hygiene and physical distancing protocols in place, we also need to start planning and accommodating changes that will occur as more sectors of the economy begin to open for business.
BRAAM has been superbly serviced by both the BadBoyz Security and Excellerate Cleaning teams over the Lockdown period:
• Our streets are immaculately clean and some minor maintenance works by the Excellerate team have been undertaken.
• Pikitup came to deep clean some of the more dirty and grimy sidewalks in our neighbourhood with a water tanker, which is highly appreciated.
• BRAAM has sourced its own deep cleaning machine and once regulations and more water points from member-buildings become available we will add this as a regular service to the area.
• BadBoyz have provided continued excellent officer and management deployment across the BRAAM Precinct.
• There has been only one crime incident (break-in and robbery) over the duration of the past weeks.
The BRAAM Board set aside monies for an Appreciation Fund to provide weekend hot meals for the teams on the ground as a gesture of gratitude for their excellent work.
Donations of face masks by BRAAM Management meant that BadBoyz was able to distribute these on the Board’s behalf to private security company personnel without the correct PPE and also to the general residential population in BRAAM where needed.
With activities starting to ramp up, our Security team will continue with their physical presence and visibility to act as a deterrent to any would-be criminal activity.
BadBoyz accompanies the Law Enforcement Officers ( Defense Force / SAPS / JMPD on regular and frequent patrols in the BRAAM Precinct and wider areas.
The adjoining neighbourhood of Hillbrow has experienced an upsurge of looting incidents and we need to be mindful of this.
• All members should make sure that their premises are locked and secured
• Report any alarm activation immediately to the BadBoyz Control Room 078 4991910, so that rapid response can be forthcoming.
Please follow all Lockdown Regulations.
Stay home unless you are a designated essential service provider, maintain hygiene protocols and practice physical distancing seriously and conscientiously.
Kind regards
Yael Horowitz
