The Johannesburg Development Agency (JDA) and the Newtown Improvement District (NID) are conducting research on stakeholder perceptions regarding urban management in the Newtown precinct. Towards this end, they’ve appointed Place Matters to conduct an independent survey to identify and prioritise urban management challenges and opportunities.

You may have participated in similar research during the formulation of the Newtown Urban Development Framework (NUDF), but we urge you to participate in this survey in order for the JDA and the NID to prioritise resources for the short and medium-term while the City of Johannesburg finalises medium to long-term interventions flowing from the NUDF.
