PWSG Meeting on Water Demand Management and Communication
The multi-stakeholder Platform for a Water Secure Gauteng (PWSG) was established to strengthen joint engagement in driving water security in Gauteng especially focused on reducing water demand.
It is an initiative launched by the National Dept of Water and Sanitation (DWS) with support of the 2030 Water Resources Group at the World Bank, and draws together government, business and civil society into this effort.
Strengthening communications and awareness is a central focus of the PWSG. In this vein, Joburg Water looks forward to engaging with stakeholders to share its local water demand management plans and its approach to communicating planned and unplanned interruptions.
Through this the PWSG seeks better mutual understanding and improved feedback loops so that service and communications can be strengthened.

This particular session is focused on Sandton, Midrand and Roodepoort – Randburg areas.
