Since 2013, Open Streets Cape Town has hosted 12 Open Streets Days in five parts of Cape Town, attracting between 3 000 and 15 000 participants at each one. They have done this in partnership with the City of Cape Town’s Transport and Urban Development Authority, local organisations, a large number of volunteers and, most importantly, members of the public who participate by attending.

 

Open Streets Cape Town has put together an invaluable toolkit for anyone who want to host their own Open Streets day.
