“JOHANNESBURG’s executive mayor Herman Mashaba plans to take drastic measures to restore law and order in the inner city, and tax-dodging businesses will have nowhere to hide.
Among Mashaba’s proposals is the establishment of a new unit within the Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) that will ensure that all businesses in the city centre are registered and paying tax.”
