The community clean up initiative #AReSebetseng launched by Mayor Mashaba takes place across the city on Saturday 30 September.
The last Saturday of every month has been allocated to #AReSebetseng initiatives.

 

The initiative is aimed at creating a culture of active citizenship in Johannesburg. Citizens are asked to play their part in picking up litter, weeding, cutting back overgrowth or removing illegal signage.

Urban Space Management will be leading community clean-ups on the day in Legae La Rona, Fashion Improvement District and New Doornfontein Improvement District 

RMS will be hosting a clean-up in Kramerville.

Whether you choose to join your ward Councillor for the morning, or just clean-up and beautify an area around where you live, it all contributes towards showing pride in the city of Joburg.
