“ITHEMBA LASE KASI: Hope around our neighbourhood” is an initiative in the Makers Valley to create an artwork made up of 1800 hopeful messages about Joburg. These messages will form part of a Wall of Hope at Fuller Park in the Makers Valley.

Also, look out for the bright yellow collection boxes at Victoria Yards, Skills Village, Boys & Girls Club SA and Spaza Art Gallery.

Another placemaking initiative in the Makers Valley is the ‘Angels of The City’ murals.
