80 Albert Street Fire Disaster Relief
Following the horrific fire at 80 Albert Street in the Inner City on 31 August, a number of organisations are coordinating relief efforts. Make a donation towards food, clothing, bedding, toiletries etc through;

The Makers Valley Partnership is assisting fire victims who are being temporarily housed in the precinct. Donations of food, clothing, bedding etc can be dropped off at their office at Victoria Yards or financial donations can be made using the details below.
“A call centre has been set up to help families locate missing people or bodies. The numbers are: 0800 203 886, 011 241 5767 and 011 355 3048. The bodies have been taken to Diepkloof mortuary and the survivors to Helen Joseph, Charlotte Maxeke, Chris Hani Baragwanath, Tembisa Provincial and South Rand hospitals” Daily Maverick
